Riverfront Refresh Pop-up Riverfront
Project Description:
Riverlife’s #RiverfrontRefresh was a temporary, one-day riverfront park designed and installed along the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh’s Strip District neighborhood. The park built off of Riverlife’s Strip District Riverfront Vision Plan to temporarily show and build momentum for riverfront amenities along the riverfront trail. Amenities included seating, games, shade, music, food trucks, Red Ribbon soda, and Kingfly cocktails. Custom plywood signs and tables were designed and constructed for the event. Feedback was gathered throughout the day and is being used to inform Riverlife’s advocacy initiatives along Pittsburgh’s three rivers.
